I have a Europe tour coming up, and I am super-excited about it. Right now, I am preparing the map in Google:
As you can see, I am spoiled for choice. :) The plan is to pin the map first, select the area of exploration, and then plan a journey through it.
I have taken a surprising amount of time to prepare it though. The excitement is sometimes too much to bear and perhaps the extra choice confuses our minds, so I have procrastinated. May be blogging would help the focus? :)
Choice really does clog up one's mind. Germany alone has so many options. I have limited time; I start on 28th September, which means 23 days left, and come back on the 22nd, which means 23 days. The first 5 days must be spent in Oslo for work, so 18 days for sheer travel, which can be optimized.
An idea, perhaps Oslo to Copenhagen via ferry? :) Or perhaps by road via Gothenburg?
Looking at a map is interesting in itself! It allows you to learn so much, especially if you have some background. All the exotic names, the shape of places! :) Even this pin-dropping exercise has resulted in enough discoveries.
